I created this work in a figure drawing class at the Academy of Fine arts. We actually had to use lino paper to draw the female figure sitting in front of us. I thought it was a ridiculous ask and did my own thing. We had 5 minutes for each pose, so I put a line on paper wanted to fill the sheet full of lines. Anonymous curves.
This work represents a big part of my favorite subjects; women in all their glory with all their beautiful curves. I cherish this work because it’s the result of not listening to a professor and doing completely what I felt like at the time.
