Earlier in August I surprised one of my favorite humans with a visit to the observatory. A couple of days later mankind would be able to spot the famous perseid meteor in the sky. An event I’d hoped to watch together at 4 AM, closely wrapped up in a sleeping bag in some hidden field outside the city. Things turned out differently… Wrapped up in a blanket at 12:30 AM by myself on my patio, I witnessed falling stars wishing we’d meet again under another starry sky.
